Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. You will work under mentor-guided supervision at a local service center with possible mobile or remote assignments as needed. Strong communication and a passion for innovation are valued.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, attention to safety, and collaboration with senior technicians to grow technical acumen in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive experience; open to recent grads.
• Graduation from an automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service and repair at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently without compromising quality.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, including ordering, receiving, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain detailed notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at service facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and stay current on evolving technical skills.
