Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service under mentorship with a focus on documentation, safety, and continuous improvement.

Based primarily at a local service center, the role may involve remote work, mobile service travel, or plant support as needed. Strong communication and eagerness to learn are valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive/shop experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or fast-paced startups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship of senior technicians.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety; assist with parts operations and reporting.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact with customers, families, and suppliers professionally at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns and training.
