Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under senior technicians and leadership, delivering an exceptional customer experience while growing your technical acumen.

The role may involve remote work, mobile service travel, or plant support as business needs evolve. The position emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 21+ years old minimum.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive repair school preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive experience.
• Exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at various locations.
• Learn to identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory, and expenses.
• Document detailed technical notes for completed repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and maintain high-quality work with supervision as needed.
