Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands‑on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV / hybrid frameworks; startup experience is a plus.
• Ability to drive a non‑commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Availability for a standard 40‑hour workweek with potential shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Flexibility for travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac, and work order systems.
• Eagerness to learn, strong organizational skills, time management, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Foundational understanding of electricity theory, DVOM, and reading schematics.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools, tire repairs, and basic vehicle alignments.
• Basic understanding of diagnostic workflows and troubleshooting under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Service & Repair: diagnose, repair, install, and inspect across service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Technical Guidance & Learning: learn EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior technicians.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: follow repair procedures safely and efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: conduct road tests after repairs to verify quality and safety.
• Parts & Operations Management: assist with parts ordering, receiving, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Documentation: maintain detailed notes for completed and in-progress repairs.
• Customer Interaction: engage professionally with customers, families, and suppliers at facilities or events.
• Continuous Improvement: identify process improvements and participate in campaigns.
• Professional Growth: pursue required training and maintain high-quality work with increasing independence.
