Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid‑level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering exceptional customer service. The role supports EV repairs, inspections, and mobile service, with mentorship from senior technicians. Work may include remote sites or plant operations, and occasional travel based on business needs.

The position emphasizes communication, safety, and hands‑on learning in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands‑on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks, or experience in startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service & repair: diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Technical guidance & learning: learn product lines, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Adherence to procedures & safety: follow repair procedures and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Quality assurance: conduct road tests post‑repair to verify quality and safety.
• Parts & operations: assist with parts ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory tracking, and work orders/expenses.
• Documentation: maintain detailed technical notes for all repairs for internal and external use.
• Customer interaction: engage professionally with customers, families, affiliates, and suppliers.
