Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. You will work under mentorship, delivering high-quality service while growing technical skills for a fast-paced, outdoor-adventurous culture.

Based at a local service center with potential for remote work and travel to mobile sites or plants as needed. Strong communication and a passion for innovation are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years in an automotive shop or technical environment; recent graduates welcome.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, on mobile routes, or at remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and procedures under senior technicians.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety; assist with parts, inventory, and expenses.
