Job summary

Rivian is seeking a junior to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, working under senior technicians and leadership. The role may involve mobile service, travel, or plant support depending on business needs.

The position emphasizes learning, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. A weekend or flexible schedule may be required based on operations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks, or experience in fast-paced start-up environments is a plus.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments, as well as work order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service and repair across service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn to identify and explain Rivian's product line, EV framework, tools and accessories under mentorship.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety; assist with parts operations and inventory.
