Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely under the mentorship of senior technicians to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations at a local service center.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates looking to launch their career.
• Basic exposure to electric vehicle (EV) / hybrid frameworks, or experience working in fast-paced start-up environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections—whether at a service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn to identify and explain the product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories while establishing peer relationships and working under the mentorship of senior technicians.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: Utilize available technical resources and follow repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
• Conduct road tests on vehicles post-repair to verify repair quality and ensure operational safety.
• Parts & Operations Management: Assist with day‑to‑day parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory tracking, and work order/expense reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain proper, detailed technical notes and documentation for all completed and in‑process repairs for internal and external use.
• Customer Interaction: Perform duties with high professionalism when interacting with customers, families, third‑party affiliates, and suppliers at service facilities or outreach events.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process areas for improvement, provide constructive feedback to mentorship leads, and participate in service campaigns or containment initiatives. Professional Growth: Actively engage in required training, stay current on evolving technical skills, and maintain high-quality work with minimal supervision as experience increases.
