Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may involve traveling to customer sites, service centers, or the production plant, with a strong collaboration mindset and customer-facing professionalism.

Candidates should have experience in automotive shop settings, comfort with EV/hybrid systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use hand and power tools, and work flexible hours. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work experience in an automotive shop is preferred.
• EV/Hybrid repair experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week, including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections in field or service centers.
• Identify and explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
