Job summary

Rivian in Texas is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs at service centers, customer locations, and on the road. You will diagnose, repair, and calibrate EV systems, travel as needed, and document work with high professionalism.

The role requires 21+ years, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for varied shifts. EV/hybrid experience is a plus; comprehensive Rivian benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English.
• Automotive shop experience preferred; EV/hybrid repair a plus.
• Willing to work weekends/variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles in service centers or customer locations.
• Explain Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations and reporting.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional customer interactions.
