Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations under seasoned mentors.

The role may involve service center work, mobile travel, remote locations, and plant support as business needs evolve. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly, and are eager to learn and adapt in the adventure-driven Rivian culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive/shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or on mobile routes.
• Learn product line, EV framework, and tools under mentorship.
• Perform road tests and document repairs for internal/external use.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Maintain professional customer interactions at facilities and events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in training and campaigns.
