Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll work under senior mentors to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, primarily at a service center, with potential travel or remote work as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, eagerness to learn, and commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; automotive repair schooling preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop experience; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks; startup environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service and repair at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures with focus on safety and quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, including receiving and inventory tracking.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in campaigns or initiatives.
• Engage in required training and grow technical skills with supervision.
