Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Field Service Technician III to deliver exceptional customer experiences at service locations. You will diagnose, repair, and service Rivian vehicles, coordinating with Service, Vehicle and Delivery Operations, and Field Service Engineer teams.

Flexibility to work remotely before on-site assignments and travel to support field operations is expected. Ideal candidates have automotive repair experience, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Automotive repair school graduate preferred.
5+ years in a traditional automotive repair shop preferred.
Proficient with hand and power tools and computer navigation.

Responsibilities

Follow Rivian repair procedures with efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
Perform or assist with diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles.
Support vehicle repairs outside of service centers as needed.
Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
Manage parts orders, receiving, shipping and inventory.
Keep technical skills up to date and participate in training.
Document repairs clearly and accurately in the work system.
Collaborate with service teams to support field operations.
