Job summary

Rivian seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. This role involves field and on-site work, collaborating with teams to diagnose and repair vehicles at service centers, customer sites, or production locations as needed.

The position may span multiple seniority levels and requires strong tool use, safety, and excellent customer communication in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent in reading/speaking English.
• EV/hybrid repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles in service centers or at customer sites.
• Explain Rivian product lines and EV framework to customers.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts orders, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with a team and maintain professional customer communication.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
