Job summary

Rivian Automotive seeks a junior to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering outstanding customer experiences at Rivian service centers. You'll work under senior technicians and leaders to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations.

Based primarily at a local service center, the role may involve remote work, mobile service travel, or plant support as business needs evolve, with training and mentorship to accelerate your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an automotive repair program preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop experience; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or fast-paced startups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn EV framework and product line under senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines.
• Road test vehicles post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, including orders, inventory, and reporting.
• Document detailed repair notes for internal and external use.
• Interact professionally with customers and stakeholders at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
