Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid‑level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Based mainly at a local service center, you may also do remote work, travel for mobile service, or support plant operations as needed.

You will work under mentor leadership to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous learning in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of hands‑on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency credential preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Service & Repair: diagnose, repair, install, and inspect at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Technical Guidance & Learning: learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: follow repair procedures while maintaining safety and quality.
• Quality Assurance: conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety after service.
• Parts & Operations Management: assist with parts operations, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Documentation: maintain detailed notes for repairs for internal and external use.
• Customer Interaction: interact professionally with customers and partners at service facilities or events.
