Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work under mentorship to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations, with potential remote work or travel as needed.

Based primarily at a local Rivian service center, the role emphasizes learning, safety, and teamwork while diagnosing, repairing, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive/shop/technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory, and work orders/expenses.
• Maintain detailed technical notes for completed and in-process repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and maintain high-quality work with supervision as needed.
