Job summary

Rivian is seeking emerging to mid-level Technicians to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will grow under mentorship from senior technicians while delivering an exceptional customer experience at local service centers, with potential remote work and travel opportunities as needed.

The role emphasizes learning the product line, EV framework, and tools, along with strict adherence to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on automotive/shop experience is acceptable for entry level.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and assist with vehicle repairs at centers or mobile routes.
• Learn product lines, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify performance.
• Assist with parts operations including ordering, receiving and inventory.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation for internal/external use.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and maintain quality work with minimal supervision.
