Rivian in Ohio is seeking an entry- to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work under mentorship to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, with potential remote work or mobile service travel.

Based at a local service center, the role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on learning, and safe, quality workmanship as you gain responsibility along the way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduation from automotive repair school/program highly preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop/technical experience; open to recent grads.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with diagnostics, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards to ensure quality and safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and work orders.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at service facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and stay current on evolving technical skills.
