Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. The role is based mainly at a service center, with potential for mobile work, remote tasks, or travel as business needs evolve.

You will grow under mentorship, develop strong communication skills, and contribute to a culture of innovation and adventure. The position includes a 5pm–2am shift with a 15% pay differential for the overnight window and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willing to travel to regional locations as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments and work order systems.
• Graduation from an automotive repair program is preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive/shop experience.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Vehicle service and repair at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Provide technical guidance under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Maintain thorough technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
