Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow their technical skills while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, working under mentorship and collaborating with senior technicians.

The role is based primarily at a local service center, with possible remote work, travel for mobile service, or plant support as business needs evolve. Shift details and travel expectations will be discussed during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive/shop experience; new graduates welcome.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.
• Proficient with laptops/computers (Windows or Mac) and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Record detailed notes and documentation for completed repairs.
