Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under mentorship with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, mainly at a service center with possible remote work or travel.

The role emphasizes learning under senior technicians, strong communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced, adventurous environment. Monday–Friday with some Saturdays, 5pm–2am, with a 15% night differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop experience; new graduates welcome.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory tracking, and expenses.
• Maintain detailed technical notes for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at service locations.
