Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Jeffersonville, IN is hiring an Estimator in Training. You will work closely with an experienced Estimator to learn diagnosing and preparing repair estimates in line with insurance partner and company guidelines, while communicating value and achieving high sales closure.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, mapping damage, taking photos, uploading to CCC One, finalizing estimates, and coordinating with insurance adjusters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Handle repair mapping and take initial photographs; upload to CCC One.
• Verify estimates during teardown and finalize using Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinate with repair team to ensure accurate windshield notations and final parts list.
• Set promise date and call customer to review estimate and date.
• Update customer regularly per management standards.
• Participate in production meetings and communicate with customers about status.
