Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Estimator in Training to learn estimating techniques, diagnose vehicle damage, and prepare accurate, profitable repair estimates per company guidelines. You will work with the estimator and production teams and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the process.

The role emphasizes learning the Repair Planning Template, using CCC One, and supporting insurance interactions while driving high close rates and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers at repair drop off and builds rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and identifies WOW opportunities.
• Uploads photos and notes to CCC One with arrival times and details.
• Notifies production and verifies estimate during teardown.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Keeps customers informed and reviews estimates and promise dates.
• Supports insurance adjusters and participates in production meetings.
