Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training in Indiana to learn diagnosing and preparing estimates for repairs per insurance guidelines. You will work with an estimator and communicate the value Gerber provides to achieve a high closing ratio.

Responsibilities include damage mapping, using the Repair Planning Template, coordinating with production, updating customers, and assisting insurance adjusters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.
• Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Greets customer at repair drop off and builds rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and identifies WOW opportunities.
• Handles repair mapping and uploads photos to CCC One.
• Verifies estimate during teardown and finalizes using Repair Planning Template.
• Keeps production informed and updates customer regularly.
