Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator who will deliver an exceptional customer experience while accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs with insurers. You will prepare detailed estimates and ensure alignment with KPIs across the repair team.

The role requires DRP knowledge, I-CAR training willingness, a valid driver's license, and solid computer skills to document and track progress throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• I-CAR training or willingness to complete is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required to document and quote repairs.
• Knowledge of DRP's and insurance processes is needed.
• Experience with damage assessment and repair estimation is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess vehicle damage and document required repairs.
• Create estimates and coordinate repair needs for customers.
• Communicate with customers and insurers throughout the repair process.
• Ensure customer interactions are documented and updated timely.
• Comply with insurance client requirements and company procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management to meet KPIs.
• Support team members and participate in safety and staff meetings.
• Attend training and information sessions as recommended by Store Manager.
