Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare accurate estimates for repair according to company guidelines. You will work closely with the Estimator and communicate value to customers to drive a high closed sales ratio.

Responsibilities include mapping damage with customers, preparing final parts lists, and updating clients on estimates and promise dates, while participating in production meetings and supporting insurance-related processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at drop-off and build rapport.
• Map vehicle damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Prepare and review estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Upload photos/notes to CCC One with arrival times and details.
• Notify production and verify estimate during teardown; finalize estimate.
