Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare accurate, profitable repair estimates in line with insurance and company guidelines. The apprentice will communicate Gerber's value to customers and contribute to a high closed sales ratio.

Key duties include mapping damage with customers, managing photos and notes in CCC One, and finalizing estimates with the Repair Planning Template while coordinating with production and insurance partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience is required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist estimator to diagnose and prepare repair estimates accurately and profitably.
• Communicate value of Gerber services to customers to support sales.
• Map vehicle damage with customers and create initial repair plans.
• Upload photos, notes, and timelines to CCC One and manage arrival and production queue.
• Verify and finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinate with repair team on notations and parts lists.
