Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines. You will gain hands-on experience under an experienced estimator.

You will communicate the value Gerber provides and support a high close sales ratio by reviewing estimates with customers and coordinating with the production team throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within first 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Greets customer at repair drop off and builds rapport.
• Maps damage with customer; information and photos.
• Uploads photos and notes to CCC One with details.
• Verifies estimate during teardown and finalizes via Repair Planning Template.
• Works with repair team to ensure correct windshield notations.
• Calls customers to review estimate and promise date; updates regularly.
