Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn estimation processes, map vehicle damage, and prepare accurate estimates under supervision. You will interact with customers at drop-off, coordinate with the repair team, and support insurance claim re-inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of I-CAR units within a year, and strong communication and computer skills. Prior collision repair knowledge is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Experience preferred: 4–6 years in related work.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Assist estimator to map damage and prepare estimates.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time and details.
• Verify and finalize estimates, set promise date, and communicate with customers.
• Assist insurance adjusters and provide service to re-inspectors.
• Participate in production meetings and follow up with customers and technicians.
