Job summary

IMEG Corp. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Structural Project Designer to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects, collaborating with engineers and consultants to deliver integrated structural solutions.

You will manage budgets, train staff, and contribute to sustainable design while coordinating across teams. Travel up to 10% and a full-time hybrid schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 3–7 years building design experience; 4–8 preferred in design consulting or construction.
• Proficiency in design techniques and structural analysis software; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems with various materials.
• Create designs, specs, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Engage clients to gather requirements and communicate technical info.
• Support project execution: planning, budgeting, scheduling, documentation.
