Job summary

IMEG Corp seeks a Structural Project Engineer for Urbandale, IA with hybrid schedule. You’ll lead analysis, design, and documentation for diverse projects, collaborating with clients and a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential for successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a relevant field, PE preferred, and 2+ years of building design consulting experience (4+ preferred). Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 2+ years in building design consulting; 4+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations using engineering software.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution as part of a project team.
• Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
