Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in the Chicago, IL area to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects. The role involves engineering analysis, design, and oversight of structural systems for buildings and other structures.

You will mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, within project budgets, and support sustainable design goals including SE2050.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 2+ years of building design consulting experience preferred; 4+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Coordinate with clients to understand needs and gather project requirements.
