Job summary

IMEG Corporation in New York, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to support analysis, design, and oversight of structural systems for buildings. You will collaborate with engineers to deliver practical structural solutions and contribute to sustainable design goals including SE2050.

The role involves project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and mentoring across multidisciplinary teams, with 15% travel and a 100% ESOP-supported environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• 5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the building design consulting industry

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Utilize engineering software to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information effectively.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress through completion and fee expenditure.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality control per IMEG standards.
