Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Urbandale, IA is hiring a Structural Project Engineer to join our team with hybrid work flexibility. You will lead design efforts for various structural systems, engage with clients, mentor staff, and contribute to project planning and budgeting.

The role supports healthcare, education, housing, and commercial projects across the Midwest. The ideal candidate holds a BS in civil/structural engineering, with 2–4 years of experience, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• 2 years of experience minimum required, 4 preferred, in the building design consulting industry

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for diverse projects
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards
• Work with clients to understand project needs and communicate technical info
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
• Support consulting project execution as part of a project team
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines
