IMEG is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Urbandale, IA, with hybrid scheduling. You will lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects and mentor teammates while collaborating with senior staff on larger work.

The role spans healthcare, education, housing, and civic projects across the Midwest. You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, scheduling, and client communication, ensuring quality and safety through IMEG

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil/structural/architectural engineering required.
• PE license preferred.
• 2+ years in building design consulting; 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for buildings.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution with budgeting, scheduling, and team collaboration.
• Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
