Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is hiring an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage escrow setups, research tax and insurance items, and disburse funds on paid-in-full loans. You will perform Escrow Vendor Specialist tasks in line with US regulations and company policies.

The role requires 2–3 years in banking/finance or mortgage escrow, experience with servicing systems, and strong analytical and math skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing systems FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot and OnBase.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Ability to perform Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative problem-solving and math skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in line with regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Set up escrow lines on new originations and acquisitions.
• Resolve property discrepancies with tax, insurance, and flood vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Communicate issues clearly and follow up promptly.
• Escalate complex escrow issues with proposed solutions.
• Provide weekly and monthly productivity summaries.
• Document updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
