Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage escrow setups for newly originated and acquired loans, conduct tax and insurance research, and resolve escrow balance items on paid loans.

The role covers Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and leveraging systems like FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase. Starting pay is $20.00-$23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing and loan originations systems: FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and communicate effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot escrow issues and make decisions impacting department credibility.

Responsibilities

• Set up escrow lines on newly originated and acquired FHA/PMI/USDA loans.
• Research and resolve tax, insurance, and escrow discrepancies.
• Process cancellation requests for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Provide complete documentation and updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff with proposed solutions.
