Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage escrow setups, research, and disbursements for FHA/PMI/USDA loans, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. The role involves resolving tax, insurance, and escrow discrepancies and providing clear documentation in the loan system.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.50 per hour, with duties including detailed analysis, collaboration with senior staff, and regular productivity reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Assist with setting up escrow lines on newly originated and acquired FHA/PMI/USDA loans.
• Research and resolve tax, insurance, and property discrepancies with vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balances.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on issues promptly.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to senior staff and propose solutions.
• Provide weekly and month-end productivity summaries.
• Prepare documentation and updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
