Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage escrow processes for newly originated and acquired loans, including setting up mortgage escrow lines, tax and insurance research, and disbursements on paid-in-full loans.

You will perform Escrow Vendor Specialist duties in compliance with state and federal laws and the company's policies. The starting pay range is $20.00-$23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing systems (FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate on solutions.
• Solid math skills and accuracy checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow regulatory requirements in all tasks.
• Research and process cancellation requests (FHA/PMI/USDA).
• Set up escrow lines on loans.
• Research property discrepancies for tax/insurance/flood vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on issues.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to senior staff and propose solutions.
• Provide weekly and month-end productivity summaries.
• Prepare documentation updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
