Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced ER Nurse for the Swing shift (1pm-1am) at the Kelly facility, a 22-bed small-format hospital. The role requires delivering age-appropriate nursing care and maintaining patient privacy while following physician orders.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), current Texas RN license, and 2+ years in ER with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Experience with documentation and infection-control practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care in the ER.
• Maintain accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
