Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Registered Nurse for our swing shift in the Emergency Room at our Fort Worth facility. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.

We require an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), active RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. Join a team that values patient-centered care, privacy, teamwork, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions is required.
• Minimum 2+ years ER or equivalent nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required (TNCC preferred).
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Complete accurate, concise medical records documentation.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care and procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers; assist with procedures.
