Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse with at least two years of ER experience for a full-time, on-site role. The position emphasizes accurate documentation, patient safety, and adherence to infection control standards in a 20-bed facility.

Applicants must hold current RN licensure in the state, be fluent in English, and possess BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; TNCC is preferred. Weekend swing shifts include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a night/weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions is required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross are required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency for written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record patient signs, symptoms, and status.
• Follow physician orders and administer care accordingly.
• Perform admissions, discharges, transfers, and related procedures.
