Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an EPMS Controls Design Engineer to help define and coordinate data center control systems across global projects. You will focus on EPMS programming, electrical power monitoring, and ensuring design standards are met.

This role requires leadership, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to manage complex projects in critical environments. The CDE team delivers Building Management System and EPMS design coordination globally, driving standardized

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data center or other critical environment
• 3+ years in designing/contributing to Controls and Monitoring solution projects
• 1+ year project management experience coordinating large projects

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of EPMS programming and design, Modbus and electrical distribution; single-line diagrams; data center redundancy
• Review MEP drawings focusing on EPMS content
• Create EPMS scopes of work (SOW) and review vendor proposals during bid
• Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize project SOWs
• Review EPMS submittals to ensure scope coverage
• Attend Factory Witness Tests and Equipment Qualification Tests to validate EPMS devices
• Develop and maintain controls points lists, EPMS drawings, and Basis of Design documents
• Lead collaboration with multiple teams to achieve project goals
• Manage RFIs and ensure communication across stakeholders
• Serve as central point of contact for EPMS design standards
