Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the global controls team supporting AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot BMS and EPMS, manage projects, and maintain critical infrastructure equipment across sites.

You’ll develop new standards, coordinate with operations, and leverage leadership principles to drive continuous improvements. You will collaborate on life-cycle activities, perform RCAs, review quarterly maintenance results, and help convert SOO into effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industrial controls experience in critical environments.
• 4+ years in project or vendor management for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot BMS/EPMS in AWS data centers and perform root cause analysis.
• Train internal customers on BMS/EPMS installation, validation and operation.
• Support operations during data center life cycle.
• Review quarterly maintenance results for BMS/EPMS and resolve actions.
• Develop project scope, schedule, LOE, and manage budgets for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Coordinate procurement activities and supplier proposals.
• Participate in AWS global on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support.
• Attend project meetings and report status to management.
• Assist commissioning activities and iterate SOO with design teams.
• Develop control logic and GUI; manage multiple stakeholder deliverables.
• Visit data centers to troubleshoot and supervise vendor work.
