Job summary

AWS is seeking an EPMS Controls Design Engineer for its Data Center Global Services team in Austin, TX. You will contribute to EPMS design, BMS/EPMS coordination, and global standards for data center controls systems.

The role requires experience with EPMS programming, electrical power monitoring, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment.
• 3+ years in utilizing or generating electrical drawings and design engineering documents for data center projects.
• 3+ years designing or contributing to Controls and Monitoring solution projects.
• 1+ year project management experience in data centers or critical environments.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and EPMS design content for accuracy.
• Create EPMS scopes of work (SOW) and support bid reviews.
• Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize project SOWs.
• Lead cross‑team collaboration to meet initiative goals.
• Manage EPMS design standards and documentation globally.
