Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned controls professional to design, implement, and support BMS and EPMS systems across AWS data centers. You will collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure systems run reliably and safely, while driving continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes project leadership, procurement coordination, and cross-functional communication with stakeholders. Expect field visits, on-call responsibilities, and ongoing interaction with the Controls team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QC).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 5+ years controls experience, or 10+ years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS systems.
• Provide technical assistance during data center life cycle.
• Review maintenance results and address items.
• Develop scope of work, schedule, budget and LOE for projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS projects.
• Assist procurement activities including RFIs, proposals, PO issuance.
• Participate in AWS global on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support.
• Attend project meetings and report status to Controls management.
• Support commissioning activities in data centers.
