Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Willow Applications Analyst to support Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory systems in Norfolk, VA. You will analyze pharmacy workflows, collaborate with clinicians and IT teams, and implement system improvements to enhance patient safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include testing, upgrades, incident management, and change control, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful deployments within a diverse healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, healthcare or related field required.
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant application support or Epic experience; 5 years if no bachelor's.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory).
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders and IT teams to analyze workflows and translate requirements into system solutions.
• Evaluate software releases, upgrades and functionality to optimize clinical and business outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Perform workflow assessments, develop testing plans, and support implementation of system enhancements.
• Provide incident resolution, change management and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow applications.
