Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Epic Willow Application Support Specialist to manage day-to-day support, optimization, and enhancement of Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory systems.

You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows, perform testing, coordinate changes, and ensure safe, efficient medication management while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification is required.
• Experience with Epic Willow modules in healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and/or Ambulatory).
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate software releases, upgrades and new functionality to optimize clinical and business outcomes while ensuring compliance and patient safety.
• Perform workflow assessments, gather functional requirements, develop testing plans, and support implementations of system enhancements.
• Provide application support, incident resolution, change management, and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Discipline, or related field (Required)
