Job summary
Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA, seeks an Epic Willow Application Specialist to support Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory systems. You will collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement improvements for safe, efficient medication management.
Responsibilities include evaluating software releases, developing testing plans, and supporting implementations. A Bachelor's degree is required with Epic Willow Certification, and several years of healthcare IT
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in information systems, healthcare administration, pharmacy, clinical discipline, or related field.
- Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory).
- Collaborates with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
- Supports incident resolution, change management, testing, and project coordination for Willow applications.
